Happy Birthday Somya!

Somya is already a year old...well almost. This petite little sweetie is gearing up for her first birthday party in a few days. She is going to have so much fun with her family and of course her BFF and cousin Saniya.

Somya like most girls...has a mind of her own when it comes to fashion. Her mom has the most adorable little outfits and accessories, but she won't have it for our session. I have to laugh because my daughter Elena is the same way...drives me mad, so I guess I am just glad to know it isn't just me :).

Somya's cousin Saniya is four years old. I couldn't believe she was only four. She is such a beautiful and mature little girl for four years old...which believe me that age can be a bit crazy. She was an awesome photographer assistant for me. She could definitely make her little cousin laugh when I needed her.

Now for the cake shots...I have to admit Somya wasn't a fan of getting icing on her. After thinking about it, all of my one year sessions with cakes have been with boys. They didn't have a care in the world that they were dirty, but Somya wasn't too happy to be that messy...can't say I blame her. She was so cute just delicately touching the cake, but in the end it was too much.  Girls are just neater than boys...what can we say.
Akber and Shamsha you have a beautiful little girl and niece. I loved working with these adorable little ladies. Maybe next time we can convince Saniya's mommy Jasmine to join the fun.

Joss and Declan

Joss and Declan are the two sweet little boys of Joe and Kerrie. Joss just turned 3, and is so excited to be the big brother of now 2 month old Declan.



Joss was cracking me up during our session. Every time he saw me pick my camera up he was ready with the CHHHHHEEESSSEEE.

Declan was just along for the ride, and at just a little over one month old he was very alert and active. I guess the second baby has to be on their toes because with a three year old around...anything can happen.

Joe and Kerrie are in the middle of building their dream home. They have been building this home for quite some time, so it was nice to be able to do the session at the new home. The house is almost finished, and I pray Joe and Kerrie are about to move in any day now.

Joe and Kerrie you have a beautiful family. Thank you for inviting me into your home to capture your beautiful kids.

Leo Round 2

This was a special session with my buddy 7 month old Leo and his parents Susan and Robert. Susan's sister Antje and her boyfriend Mangus were visiting Atlanta from their home in Germany.

Leo was the life of this party during our session. It was so wonderful to see how much everyone loves this little boy.


Antje and Susan are two sisters that I know miss being close to one another. They had a wonderful time hanging out with one another, and I have to wonder if this distance has made them closer to one another. They certainly are beautiful ladies.

Antje and Mangus have been together for one year, and they are quite the striking couple. They are adorable together, and I wish them nothing but happiness in the future.

Robert and Susan are such a fun couple. You can definitely see the love between these two, and it shows with Mr. Leo.

Gabriel and his boys

Little Gabriel AKA Goo is turning one in a few days, so his mommy called me to do a session with Gabriel. Gabriel's older brothers Michael and Nicholas were happy to join in the fun...okay happy may be too strong of a word, but pretty dang happy for an 11 and 13 year old.


Gabriel is such a happy baby, and I can see that he is the life of the party. He has such a sweet personality that it is hard not to smile when you see him.


Michael and Nicholas weren't always excited about me in their face with the camera, but they love their brother and I think it really shows in some of their pictures. Gabriel is so lucky to have big bros like them along with an "adopted brother" Ashton.

Michelle and Eddie you have some really cool kids. Thank you so much for trusting me with your babies. Hope you guys have a great party next weekend.

Logan is 6 Months!

I met a little sweatheart named Logan this weekend. He just turned 6 months old. He is a handsome little man who refuses to sit up.





We had a few laughs watching Mr. Logan get into some crazy positions to avoid sitting up. His mommy said the doctor said that he is lazy, but I don't think that is the case I think he just has his own opinions on what he should be doing.


Katy and Jeremy thank you so much for letting me capture Logan's 6 month milestone. I hope to see that sweet face again soon.

Noah's First Birthday

Little Noah celebrated his first birthday this past weekend. I know his mom and dad are sitting there wondering where did the time go. It seems like only yesterday Noah surprised his family and arrived 2 months early. I guess he couldn't wait to get out and join the party!


Noah had a ball hanging out with his family and friends. He laughed, he ate, and he cried...now that's a good party:). Noah is a lucky boy to have so many people who love him.
