My baby turns four!

My life is officially flashing before me...my baby Laney is now four years old! Where did the time go, before you know it she will be in Kindergarten. I am sad that she is no longer so dependant on me, but I am also excited to see how she is growing and developing. Everyday I am amazed by how much she has learned. She is really growing up to be a sweet little girl, and I am so blessed to be her mommy.

The Carwile Girls

I had a busy Sunday. I met the Carwile girls on Sunday, Katie and Lindsey. They are precious girls that happen to be best friends with Hanna and Emily from my earlier session. All four girls went to the same daycare growing up, and now that they are in elementary school they still are best buds.

Katie and Lindsey were all smiles on Sunday. We had a great time playing hide and go seek and watching the ducks.

Thank you Jim and Melissa for letting me work with you girls. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

The Fassetts

This weekend I got the chance to photograph my friend Laurie's family. She has two beautiful girls Hanna and Emily who are just naturals in front of the camera. They sure made my job easy. The girls had so much fun playing hide and go seek as I snapped away. I felt a little bad for the girl that was hiding since my camera always seemed to give her away, but they didn't mind. You gotta love little kids.

Thanks Mike and Laurie for letting me play with your beautiful kids.

Dear Mother Nature

Dear Mother Nature,
Enough already...we are ready for Spring. We have been cooped up in this house entirely too long. We are in desparate need of outside time. I know we asked for snow, and we really appreciate the snow you gave us back in February, but you have now exceeded our very low quota for snow days.  We are tired of rushing out to buy bread and milk because that is what we do; although, I am not sure why we do.  We are tired of bundling up. It is time for flip flops!!  Please bring back Mr.Sunshine; we are cracking up.
Kind regards,
Amber, Laney and Bennett
