About Me

I have always loved photography. I even worked at a photo lab in high school, but it wasn't until the birth of my first child that I really got into taking more than just pictures. I started to learn more about composition and editing photographs, and then my husband bought me my first DSLR and I was off and running.


I have been fortunate to be surrounded by good location photographers that I have never taken any of my children to studios. Bright lights and cheesy props equal tantrums for my 4 year old. I prefer the candid shots that really capture the child. The fake CHHHHHEEEESSSSE smile can only go so far:).

I am the mommy to Laney (4) and Bennett (9 months). I have an amazing husband that has been so supportive of my dream. We also have a psychotic and epileptic dog Murphy and precious cat Saphie. We live in my hometown surrounded by family. I love my life and thank God everyday for giving me this beautiful family.
